Halcyon Global Opportunities develops and builds residential and commercial property in Cyprus and other parts of Europe.
We concentrate on Cyprus because it currently has the most exciting opportunities, as well as being a beautiful country of open-minded and kind people.
We work on a small number of projects at one time. Our pipeline typically comprises 8-12 projects. We have a wide network of support, including lawyers, contractors, agents and lots of friendly acquaintances.

Halcyon Global Opportunities has had a strong real estate development arm since 2010. Led by Irina Marina, the business began by buying small apartments shell and core, fitting them out and reselling them for a modest margin.
We quickly moved to larger apartments, then to commercial and office space. Since 2016, we have had a presence in Cyprus and in 2022 the focus of the company shifted there.

In addition to real estate, Halcyon team members constantly explore new opportunities which allow us to create value for our partners and investors and to improve the world in which we live. We have worked in areas including energy transition, education and innovative technologies. We welcome new ideas.

Letter from the Founder
At some point in our lives, we ask ourselves why we are working. For some, the answer is clear. They work for money to support a particular life and they find fulfilment outside the workplace.
Some of us are fortunate enough to find a sense of achievement and fulfillment in our work. I have had the pleasure of working with talented colleagues and producing something we are proud of. We argue, we collaborate, we care about each other and help each other succeed. It might be most accurate to view our business as a collection of individuals doing whichever projects appear to us the most exciting at that time.
Over the time we have been working together, our team has participated in projects in energy transition, education, innovative technologies and real estate. Since 2022, we concentrate on real estate development in Cyprus and educational projects.
Developing in Cyprus allows us to express our admiration and respect for this warm and kind country. Cyprus is extraordinary in its openness to successive waves of immigration. Just in my memory, we experienced massive inflows from Lebanon, Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Egypt. There have been glitches and twitches but the country has been generally open, pragmatic and kind.
In all our projects, we are proud of what we build. We put our energy into something which will remain and which will provide clear, lasting benefit to the people who live in and use our buildings.
